Algonquin needs to be more of a community – with PRIDE in our sports and unique and talented students. We have so many programs and skilled students .. we should show it off!

Algonquin needs to not charge students to take classes if they withdrew from them and are taking them later. I’ve already paid once, why do I have to pay again?

I beleive Algonquin needs a free tutoring system that is subsidised by the governement so that not only students with money can get the help they need to help them on their way to success.

Textbooks are expensive. Don’t make us waste our money on a 10 year old textbook that has little to no relevancy to today.

Keep working towards having an efficient internet system and reliable blackboard. It is very stressful when online assignments are due, and blackboard keeps crashing or is unavailable.

Algonquin NEEDS to:
1. Have an efficient laptop program for at-home use like a software VMWare provides (separate operating system that acts like you’re on the school campus lab computers but installed on your own laptop) or similar, instead of having IT install 5 different programs on my machine and the webcitrix be a lesser efficient system… Check out NBCC Moncton and their laptop program for more information.
2. Gym membership included in tuition.
3. Wireless internet capability in “M” building.. again, not efficient for students wanting to work from their own study building.
4. A few carbage cans around the gardens surrounding the “M” building… there is so much garbage laying around and no wonder, since there are NO garbage cans in the premises to keep it clean!
