What do students really think?

No Gravatar

Have you ever been at Algonquin and thought “I wonder if they ever even bothered to ask students what they think?”…. Well here’s your chance!

In the coming term (Winter 2010 semester) the SA will be researching your overall experience and well being at Algonquin College. We will be surveying students and conducting focus groups on all Algonquin campuses, but we need your cooperation!

We would like to better understand a student’s experience at the college so that we may further help provide services to students and change services to better fit the needs of students.

If you would like to participate in our survey and/ or focus groups which will be taking place around Jan/ Feb 2010, please let us know!

    hi,

Is there a place in the algonquin college website where I can check my exam time table?

That is, the day, place and date where my exams are being held?

    Hey there John,

There sure is a place where you can access that information!

Go to http://www.algonquincollege.com, then on the right hand side there should be a link called “current students portal” – click on that!

Then log on to your ACSIS account, after you log in, on the left hand side in the column you should be able to see “timetable” – go to your timetable – make sure that you have selected the right term (in other words make sure it’s the Fall 2009 timetable)!

This is where you will find your exam schedules – look carefully, it will appear like your class schedule but there will be extra boxes added to include your Final Examinations!

IF you are unable to access your timetable it could be for a number of reasons – I’d highly recommend you go see ITS right away – usually if there are unpaid fees, your timetable won’t open or it could just be an error.

ITS phone number is 613-727-4723 ext. 5555

I hope it works for you, Happy holidays & good luck on exams!

    ~Dayna
